Our 16 hour Illinois CCL Class satisfies the state training requirement to apply for your IL carry license

Our 16-hour Illinois Concealed Carry Course covers all state-required training to apply for your Illinois Concealed Carry License (CCL). This course provides essential instruction on firearm safety, legal considerations, and defensive shooting fundamentals.
The 16 Hour Class Includes:

Who Needs This Course?

New Applicants: Required for first-time Illinois CCL applicants.
Military Veterans: If you have a DD214 or currently serve in any type of military status, you are only required to attend Day 2 (8 hours) of the course. Please ensure you annotate your Veteran’s status upon class enrollment. Veterans must present a DD214 on Day 2 in order to receive the 8 hr military credit. (current service members, including Guard & Reserve, must present a military ID). Former or current military members who have not graduated from Basic Training/Boot Camp are not eligible for the 8 hour military training credit.

Time, Cost, and Equipment:

🔹 Duration: 16 hours (Two 8-Hr Days)
🔹 Cost: $200.00
🔹 Equipment Needed:

Handgun. Range rental firearms are available in .22,.380, 9mm, and 45 Auto calibers.
30 rounds of ammunition. Students may purchase ammo at the range prior to qualification.
Eye and ear protection. Students may rent ear protection, but eye protection is available for purchase only.

Important Class Info

Any handgun caliber may to be utilized in the live-fire qualification (including .22s).
Live fire qualification standard: 21/30 shots on the black silhouette of a B27 target. Students will fire 10 rounds each at 5/7/10 yards.
If your semi-auto pistol capacity is less than 10 rounds, bring a second magazine to facilitate the 10 round requirement per each distance.
Firearms must be transported in a range bag/case/container.

Important Notes

🔸 A FOID card is NOT required to attend this course.
🔸 If you are a first-time shooter, we recommend completing our Pistol One Course, or schedule a private lesson prior to attending this class.
🔸 Arrive 15 minutes early. No-shows without prior coordination will result in a non-refundable course fee.
